I'm Nadja, founder of BiG SPooN Health. I'm a medical doctor, lifestyle medicine specialist, and nutritionist.
I help people learn how to live healthier lives for longer and feel like the best versions of themselves. All of my programmes take a no-nonsense approach to wellness, underpinned by the ethos that the pursuit of health doesn't have to be complicated, restrictive, or boring. My approach is rooted in lifestyle medicine — the science of preventing, managing, and even reversing chronic disease by addressing its root causes: how we eat, move, sleep, manage stress, connect with others, and treat our bodies. I believe that good health can and should be pleasurable, and that real, joyful, unapologetic indulgence is an essential part of it.
With Big Spoon, you can always trust that the information and guidance will be honest, reliable, and clinically-backed. No crash courses, no quick fixes, no wellness trends. Just the science-based tools and knowledge to build habits that actually last, and that leave plenty of room for life along the way.
I am particularly passionate about how lifestyle medicine and nutrition can support with:
Metabolic health
Insulin resistance
Women’s hormonal health
Perimenopause and menopause
Wellbeing at work and stress management
Gut health
Weight concerns
GLP-1 medication journeys (Ozempic/Wegovy/Mounjaro)
